Hippuliinan Bearded Collies

This site is a brief glance to my Beardies and breeding. There are more pictures, all pedigrees and news at the Finnish site. I hope it's worth surfing without the English texts. 

My first plan was not to start breeding. Hippu - Zarbrax Glorious Gift - came to us to be a member of our family. We went to a few shows, just to see whether the judges liked her at all. She succeeded better than I could have guessed. 

So, here we are. At the moment, six litters have been born at kennel Hippuliinan and I co-own a few descendants of Hippu (see the presentations). You can have look at my litters in KoiraNet, which is administrated by Finland's Kennel Club. Please contact if you have anything to ask about my litters or breeding.

The seventh litter will hopefully be born in 2010. We'll mate Vuokko (Hippuliinan Cheery Chakra)  during Christmas 2009.

Our family lives at the western coast of Finland, in Pori. Our house is located in a rural area of the city, so the dogs are let run wild at the nearby fields. At the moment, we have a Beardie Hippu, a Miniature Snautcher Helka and a cat Vihtori in the house. At the stable a Finnish horse Aku and a Shetland pony Vili are keeping each other company.
